Which religion is the right one for me?

Quiz time: Which religion is the right one for you?
You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.
Fair enough. What might surprise people is that I apparently have twice as much in common with the Islam as with Christianity, but that is probably due to agreeing with a "just" war (although I seem to interpret that differently than suicide bombers) and slamming down anything that had to do with Jesus. The only untrue in the result is that I'm not totally free of moral codes. The sanity of some of the ten commandments is visible in the poll results making Judaism the best scoring actual religion for me:
Satanism 75%, agnosticism 63%, atheism 58%, Judaism 50%, Paganism 42%, Buddhism 38%, Islam 38%, Christianity 21%, Hinduism 21%.
Also worth noting: I would actually call myself a secularist, as I have argued the existance of a God is irrelevant to human beings: a benevolent God would forgive any doubt on our part and an evil God would torture us regardless of faith, so it doesn't matter one bit what we believe and therefore I tend to withdraw from religious debates on deities. But hey, I want to be young, hip and hang with the in-crowd, so I'll take Satanism!

On secularity, I think you're missing half of religion. If there is a higher power, then he has to be relevant.
A Jew or a Muslim in particular might say that, people have much to gain from a higher power, in the form of truth about the world. If an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-good being tells you how you should live, then that's something worth listening to.

Rules laid down by a higher being can be followed without a continued religious believe in that being. I bet I would have scored high on deism as well, if the quiz included it.

My results:
You are... an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.
(My comment: To me there's no such thing as a God or a higher power. I do experience it as simply "nonreligious", cos that's what it is right??)
(atheism 88%
Satanism 88%
agnosticism 75%
Buddhism 71%
Paganism 67%
Judaism 25%
Islam 25%
Christianity 25%
Hinduism 17%)

I'm not sure really. I think non-religious and spiritualism are terms for people who do believe in something, but don't subscribe to a particular religion. But I also think you're right and that atheism is stronger than non-belief and in fact denies the existance explicitely.

I think there are two kinds of atheism. One is like satanism, in that it goes out of its way to reject Christianity, but defines itself as the absence of it instead of the opposite.
The other kind says "What are you people talking about? Quit making up stories. That's stupid," and moves on with life.
I'm the latter.

you've got a point.
But I'm not Satanic either. I've read about it, and they've got a few good points, but I just don't feel like living up to something..
I like to make my own rules. And I believe in myself. But hey, who am I? I am just in puberty ;)

I normally think these are silly, but this one sounded interesting, so...
